  1. Tallest: the Great Pyramid: At about 146.6 m it towered over the Lighthouse of Alexandria's roughly 100 m — the tallest of the seven.
  2. Shortest-lived: the Colossus of Rhodes: The ~33 m bronze statue stood only about 54 years before the 226 BC earthquake brought it down.
  3. The New 7 Wonders (2007): A global poll picked a modern seven — Great Wall, Petra, Machu Picchu and more — with the Pyramid given honorary status.
