Three Groundbreaking Algorithmic Composers

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's 'Musikalisches Würfelspiel' (1787) allowed dice-based composition, Lejaren Hiller and Leonard Isaacson created the first computer-composed 'Illiac Suite' (1957), and Iannis Xenakis pioneered 'stochastic music' using mathematical models in the mid-20th century.
