Artemis III: Preparations for Human Return to the Lunar Surface

As NASA targets no earlier than 2026 for its historic Artemis III mission, preparations are intensifying for the first human landing on the Moon's south pole in over 50 years, aiming to put the first woman and person of color on the lunar surface.
