Kiper updates his 2027 Big Board: Ranking the top 25 NFL draft prospects

Seven quarterbacks ranked in the top 25? This NFL draft class could be fun. Mel Kiper Jr. stacks the best players on the board as of late October.

The top 3

  1. Top-Ranked Prospects and Positional Strength: Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith currently holds the top position due to his exceptional size, physical play, and consistent production. The 2027 class is noted for its high-caliber wide receivers, standout defenders, and a significant volume of quarterback prospects.
  2. Evaluation Methodology and Limitations: Kiper’s Big Board serves as a personal ranking based on film study and NFL conversations, expressly distinguished from a mock draft or predictive outcome. These rankings are dynamic; players remain subject to fluctuations in stock, and some may opt to return to college, necessitating continuous updates throughout the season.
