The IndyCar Triple Crown traditionally consists of three 500-mile superspeedway races: the Indianapolis 500, Pocono 500, and California 500. Only Al Unser has won all three of these races in a single season (1978). Bobby Unser, A. J. Foyt, Johnny Rutherford, Danny Sullivan, and Rick Mears are other drivers who have achieved the feat over their careers.
