Starship is the tallest rocket ever built (~121 m); Saturn V still holds the proven payload crown (~140 t).

  1. Tallest ever — Starship at ~121 m: Starship stands about 10 m taller than Saturn V's 111 m, and newer V3 versions aim higher still.
  2. Proven payload — Saturn V's ~140 tonnes: Saturn V actually delivered ~140 t to low Earth orbit; Starship targets 100-150 t but hasn't flown a real payload yet.
  3. The expendable ceiling — up to ~250 t: Fully expendable Starship (V3) aims for as much as ~200-250 t to orbit, but that means throwing the whole rocket away.
