Fastest 3-0 Starts in NFL History

Teams that start 3-0 historically secure playoff spots at a rate of approximately 75%, making the Raiders' current streak critical.

The top 3

  1. The 3-0 Playoff Success Rate: Since 1970, roughly 3 out of every 4 teams that open a season with three consecutive wins eventually qualify for the postseason.
  2. Most 3-0 Starts by Franchise: The Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots lead the league in historical 3-0 starts since the AFL-NFL merger.
  3. Rare 3-0 to Missed Playoffs: Fewer than 10% of teams that begin 3-0 finish with a losing record, highlighting the danger of 'mirage' starts.
