Cathy Moriarty received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for 'Raging Bull' (1980), two Golden Globe nominations (Best Supporting Actress and New Star of the Year) for the same film, and won a CableACE Award for Best Actress in a Dramatic Series for her work on 'Tales from the Crypt'.
