NASA SLS: Artemis Program's Powerhouse

NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) Block 1, currently operational, produces 8.8 million pounds of thrust, 15% more than the Saturn V, and is designed to lift over 27 metric tons to the Moon. The planned Block 2 configuration will provide 9.4-9.5 million pounds of thrust and lift over 46 metric tons to deep space.
