Three of the highest-grossing animated films released in summer are 'Inside Out 2' (2024), which crossed $1 billion globally in 19 days, 'Toy Story 5' (2026), which made $1.1 billion and is the highest of its series, and 'Despicable Me 4' (2024), which grossed $914 million worldwide.
