Waymo will launch a fully autonomous ride-hailing service in Tokyo in 2027, following earlier data collection efforts using Jaguar I-PACE vehicles. While testing of the Toyota bZ4X fleet is set to commence in 2027, the commercial integration of these specific vehicles into the ride-hailing service has not yet been defined.
